RIO Grande is a comprehensive solution providing retailers Enterprise level ETL (Extraction, Transformation and Loading) as well as control of their 4690 System. RIO Grande provides the following services: 
- Trickle Tlog data from the 4690 POS Controller to a host. The Tlog data comes in near real time.
- Send files to and receive files from the POS controller(s) at timed intervals.
- Schedule a wide variety of jobs and reports.
- Monitor applications on the POS controller and generate alert emails when the application is not running.
- Check the status of the POS controller and check for running jobs.
- Generate daily reports on the status of all stores.
- Initiate jobs to pull log files from the stores nightly.
- Define criteria for generating email notifications when the criteria is not met.
