GrocerKey and REDList Launch Real-Time, E-Commerce POS Integration Solution
MADISON, Wisconsin (Jan. 11, 2016) – The growing e-commerce shopping platform GrocerKey, and award-winning point-of-sale solutions provider REDList, are excited to announce launch of a custom interface that integrates – in real-time – online transactions and retailers’ POS systems.
The collaborative technology solution, believed to be the industry’s first, eliminates a brick-and-mortar grocer’s need to manually scan items ordered by customers via its online channel. This streamlines productivity and greatly reduces labor costs.
The interface has been piloted since November 2015 at Wisconsin-based Woodman’s Markets, among the nation’s largest independent grocery retailers. More than 60,000 products are available through ShopWoodmans.com, which is powered by GrocerKey technology and Woodman’s Toshiba ACE POS system.
Jeremy Neren, founder and CEO of GrocerKey, and Jeff Boyle, president and CEO of REDList, describe the integrated solution as a “game-changer.” Neren said, “This is a highly scalable solution that enables retailers to run a profitable ‘click-and-collect’ and delivery operation.” Boyle said that discussions are underway regarding integration with the NCR platform.
The REDList Solutions team will be onsite in the “Launch Pad” area of the National Retail Federation’s annual “BIG Show,” set for Jan. 17-20, 2016, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City.
GrocerKey, based in Madison, Wis., is a retailer-branded technology and service company that provides grocery stores with end-to-end technology and fulfillment services. The GrocerKey team has more than 50 years of experience in e-commerce grocery operations.
